The glossy #black & white photos show her warrior goddess side as she’s “armored up” for her highly anticipated solo album, Goldenheart, in stores January 15th. And we love her freshness she brings to the R&B game.
The shoot, photographed by #celebrity #photographer Dimitry Loiseau, has a modern day Joan of Arc theme. She does an Avante guard battle in mixing an androgynous #style. She rocked #couture looks from Malgorzata Dudek, @laureluxe #Laureluxe Metal shoulders, an Una Burke leather bodysuit and Jeffrey Campbell heels courtesy of her stylist Ja’Niya Walker, and some items from her own personal wardrobe.
“The pictures go hand in hand with the lyrics and music,” says Dawn. “I want to get the hearts even more excited to hear the album.”
